OpenSolaris Users Group: First meeting ever is tomorow!

As Mr. Alan DuBoff pointed out in his blog the first ever OpenSolaris Users Group meeting is tomorow evening! w00t! 7:30pm-10:00pm at the Santa Clara Campus, should be awesome! I'm really excited.

I haven't talked to Alan lately so I'm not sure if they got a video feed worked out yet, but I've already said in the past that I'd bring my MiniDV cam and try to tape the thing, which I still plan to do. I'm alittle worried that my recording might have crappy audio quality so I've thought about getting an external directional mic for my cam, but hopefully I'll get it all worked out. Only possible wierd thing with any recording I make beyond the audio quality is the 90 minute limitation on MiniDV, so I'm gonna have to make a strategic tape swap or two.

I wish everyone could be here for this event but since thats not possible we'll do the best we can to help eachother out. (Oh ya, my Canon Rebel XT should _finally_ arrive this afternoon, bastard f--king UPS bastards, so I'll get some nifty pics too.)
